JOB DESCRIPTION

Patio is looking for an experienced Digital Ad Campaign Specialist to increase our clients’ organic search traffic and optimize paid search engine marketing (SEM). The ideal candidate is a data-driven individual who is passionate about performance marketing and creating unique, success-driven solutions and campaigns for clients. This position is for you if you like working with a remote team of supportive and fun individuals, are able to perform like a rockstar on your own, love to share funny memes in the team Slack channel, and always have a space in your calendar for Zoom drinks and/ or Wine Wednesday.

The Digital Ad Campaign Specialist will focus on managing Google Ad campaigns, conversion rate optimization, web analytics, and creating and executing the search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for both onsite and offsite optimization and managing paid media budget. We are looking for a highly analytical and creative strategist who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams to achieve SEO & SEM objectives. A track record of success leading SEO & SEM is essential to this role. You will be leading projects with a focus on optimizing acquisition metrics such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and ROI by channel and media campaign. In this role, you’ll work with the Managing Director, the Director of Digital Media, and the Patio team to drive the digital strategy while executing and optimizing across the marketing funnel.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and continuously optimize the performance of Google Ad campaigns

  • Managing Google Ad campaigns including Paid SEM, Google Grant Search, Display, and YouTube

  • Develop and execute a successful SEO & SEM strategy

  • Align the SEO strategy with the overall marketing strategy of our clients to achieve company objectives

  • Conduct keyword research to support SEO and SEM initiatives

  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify onsite & offsite issues and opportunities

  • Developing new traffic acquisition and link-bait opportunities

  • Work with the content team to optimize website content and blog posts

  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEM/ SEO aspects

  • Stay current with the latest trends in SEO and inbound marketing strategies and tactics

  • Identify conversion rate optimization (CRO) opportunities for stakeholders, and lead testing processes

  • Manage ideation, planning, and execution efforts of CRO special projects.

  • Create web analytics reports and dashboards to measure website performance

  • Analyze web analytics and testing data to develop optimization hypothesis that could become potential projects

  • Ensuring the integrity of our UTM campaign tagging

  • Troubleshooting web analytics issues and making tracking code changes as needed


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Expert knowledge in Google Ads (Paid Search, Google Ad Grant Search, Display and YouTube Preroll), and current SEO and inbound marketing practices

  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ)

  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to analyze ad campaigns and tracking code

  • Proven track record of success as in SEO & SEM in a competitive industry and identifying conversion rate optimizations (CRO) opportunities

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • Experience creating SEO & SEM reports and dashboards 

  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Very detail-orientated and analytical: able to derive strategic insights from data

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
 remotely

  • Collaborative team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other team members

  • Possess strong work and business ethics; be reliable, highly organized and dependable

  • Demonstrate initiative, integrity, and professionalism, and  maintain confidentiality and exercise tact when dealing with sensitive issues

  • Possess an interest in current events and pop culture (not only to add some fun to team meetings, but also to stay current with social media trends that may be relevant to client campaigns)

  • Experience with communication tools like Zoom and Slack to stay connected with the team


QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in digital content, engagement, campaign management web analytics and conversion optimization

  • Experience with social media platforms such as, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube, and their respective audiences is preferred as you will be working in partnership with social media campaigns

  • Experience of digital strategy, information architecture & design, digital marketing; including online advertising and promotion

  • Google Search, Display, and YouTube certified

  • Google Display video 360 certification preferred
