You may have noticed a small addition to your business’ Facebook page recently, amongst other changes. This new feature, when used correctly, can put more eyes on your brand’s primary objective and help create more conversions.
A new social media feature just come out. The Call-to-Action button is featured at the top of your Page, laid over top of the header image. The seven options available are:
- Book Now
- Contact Us
- Use App
- Play Game
- Shop Now
- Sign Up
- Watch Video
While Page admins are unable to edit the text further, these options give ample opportunity for businesses to increase the amount of fans that use their services. For example, Facebook illustrates the efficacy by quoting a 2.5x higher conversion rate after Dollar Shave Club activated the ‘Sign Up’ call-to-action.
The button is visible on both desktop and mobile and has rolled out on all Pages worldwide. Despite missing obvious options such as ‘Donate Now’ for non-profit organizations, ‘Listen Now’ for podcasters or radio, or ‘Subscribe Now’ for print media, the new feature is a great addition to the tools available for business on Facebook. Ensure you are using your business’ Page to its full potential by activating your call-to-action button immediately.
